Welcome to my world!

When I meet old friends and family, they usually say to me the first thing that comes to their mind is me dancing…Those who knows me since my childhood will quickly associate me with the dance.

After school I would spend the day dancing in my bedroom and occasionally at my mum’s bedroom, where there was a window with the view to the street. People passing by used to stop to watch me in ectasis “dancing like no one was watching “– but no, many people were watching me!

So, my mum had no other alternative than signing me in for dance classes. Then it was when my journey with the dance started, mostly with jazz but also some Brazilian folk dances.  Belly dance appeared in my life in 2000, when I started attending classes.  Since then, I never let it go from my life.

My career as a dancer started in 2005 in London where I started to perform in Arabic restaurants, followed by 10

years in Madrid, where I had the opportunity to dig in the technique with renowned teachers and started also to teach in many dance schools and gyms around the city.

During this trajectory, I made wonderful friends among dance colleagues, teachers and students and visited incredible places in the orient either for training or for work. I feel very grateful for everything belly dance has gifted me in my life. My hobby eventually turned into a side job, and I never could leave it.

I love to be able to impact positively in people´s life, bringing them the connection with themselves, awaking their feminine side and boosting their self-esteem. Dance for me is a form of expression, it elevates the spirit and brings happiness to the soul. It is a powerful way to connect with your feelings and express it.

I am very grateful for the belly dance community.

Keep shimming keep smiling.
